  • 4 participants (21 – 30 years old) and 1 leader from Portugal
  • 4 participants (21 – 30 years old) and 1 leader from Italy
  • 4 participants (21 – 30 years old) and 1 leader from France
  • 4 participants (21 – 30 years old) and 1 leader from Estonia
  • 4 participants (21 – 30 years old) and 1 leader from Cambodia
  • 4 participants (21 – 30 years old) and 1 leader from Indonesia
  • 4 participants (21 – 30 years old) and 1 leader from Thailand
  • 4 participants (21 – 30 years old) and 1 leader from Hong Kong

Concept:

The workcamp exchange “Grow your future” is part of the World Exchange 2 project. World Exchange 2 wants to combine the concept of Youth Exchanges using non-formal learning with that of Workcamps in order to provide experimentation and exchange good practices among partners. The core of the project is the cooperation between European and Asian organisations and youth workers, to provide participants a broader point of view on the intercultural exchange.

Objectives:

  • Provide tools for a more sustainable way of living
  • Learn and put in practice the principles of permaculture
  • Raise awareness on the habits and practices that have more impact on the environment
  • Exchange good practices through national/cultural workshops


Requirements:

  • Age 21 -30
  • Active participation in all the activities of the Workcamp Exchange
  • Able to work in a team and share private spaces
  • High motivation and interest on the topic
  • Basic English knowledge
  • Commitment to write an article/post after the project
  • Commitment to participate in a dissemination event after the project

Location:

The Workcamp Exchange will be hosted by the partner Quinta das Relvas, a farm and NGO association located in Branca, Albergaria-a-Velha, Portugal. Their main goal is to share experiences related to Art and Nature. In the farm, they work with permaculture, eco-building, and sustainability in general.

Logistics:

  • Food and accommodation are covered by the Erasmus+ programme.
  • Travel expenses will be reimbursed up to a set amount.
  • Visa expenses for participants coming from Cambodia, Indonesia and Thailand are covered up to the amount of 100€.
